You will:
- As an Assistant Vice President/Vice President helps to develop and promote the company’s culture of engineering excellence.
- Define, develop and deliver solutions at a top tier investment bank or another esteemed client.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Your required skills:
This role will be responsible for working closely with the technical leads and product owners to develop & support data engineering and analytics functionalities in the Wealth Management subdomain at a top tier Investment Bank.
The right candidate will be responsible for hands-on application development to support the current and target state processes across the design, build, test, deploy & support phases.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- A “get it done right” mentality
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to multitask and a disciplined attention to detail, along with a team player mentality
- 7 -15 years of programming experience
- Proficient in Java with a strong background in algorithms and data structures is a must
- Strong development experience with the storage, manipulation and management of relational, non-relational and/or streaming data structure

Your desired skills:
- Development experience in one of the messaging frameworks like Kafka or IBM MQ.
- Development experience in one of the caching technologies.
- Banking or Capital Markets domain understanding.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline.
Your Education and Experience:
